guys, the reason why two players who arent very good are playing in the final is because there was contreversy over prize money before the quarter finals began. USATT wanted more money from the entries to give as prize money but all the old seniors and top players (David Zhuang, Stefan Feth, Cheng Yinghua, etc.) didn't want to pay all the money so they dropped out. Thats why Michael won, and I am sure that he would loose to any of those seniors I listed up there.

Yeah, Landers is good, but I can't believe he's one of the top US players.. no wonder we aren't competitive at the national level. He's rank 829 in the world.

I remember Samson...he came down to Georgia to show off in our NCTTA qualifier and played a pretty intense match but in the end he still didn't win...I kind of expected more from him from this match...seems like he didn't play the game and just wanted shut down Landers with power...which doesn't work if you're aren't patient...

@iMaxrahi They were losers that just wanted more money. Michael play great here and in the world team table tennis championship. There are many more years ahead of him and right now he has the potential to be a great table tennis player internationally.
