Excuse my incredulity as to the relevance, authority, structure, suitability, etc. of this degree program, but why exactly don't we see any men teaching this class?

Is the implication here that only women care to teach women's studies? I'm listening as I type this comment and I'm hearing recurring themes (critical thinking (philosophy, psychology), Diversity (social studies), so really there's nothing new here...unless the focus on women... it seems more like therapy than a major.

i don't know what WGS classes you have taken but they do not promote hate... they promote equality despite race,sex,gender,sexuality etc.

Why not, my friend graduated from the gender studies program at my university, and now he works as an IT anaylsty at a lab. And yes even men do this program! and another thing, so what if some women in the class are overweight or are not considered hot, does that make them anyless of a human being? These programs are cool, empowering and enlightening, if you dont like it, then dont study it.
