Don't. The PS3 version is really, really bad compared to the 360 version. I prefer the PS3 as a console, but it's plain to see that getting it just for this inferior version would be a waste of money.

It's not because of the graphics. The PS3 version has other issues that are pretty much guaranteed to make you enjoy it less than the 360 version. I prefer the PS3 to the 360, and I do not own a 360, but if you are getting one of those systems just for Bayonetta, it has to be the 360.

How so? I have the ps3 version, and I keep hearing how it's supposedly "inferior", and maybe it is a little rougher than the 360 version, I dunno. But I never hear any actual reasons...you make it sound like it's straight-up broken, but the only issues I've encountered on the ps3 version are some long load times and some lag in the cutscenes. Oddly enough, only in the cutscenes, and once or twice throughout the game itself. I'm not seeing the huge deal.

The difference between the two versions are the graphics, the 360 version looks much more rich in colour and better effects. Also shorter load times and dosen't need a patch to cut out all the uneeded load screens.

platinum games devolped the game on for 360.but the ps3 version was not converted by platinum games...saga converted the game from 360 to ps3.

that is why the ps3 version has alot of issues..if u want to make sure just play both version and u will see.

I played the ps3 version and what i clearly noticed:

poor framerate-screen tearing-load times like u never seen before! and lastly washed out colores compaired to 360 version

so if u have 360 its better to go for that version..I'M NOT A FANBOY

Thanks didn't know that Sega did the recoding for the PS3. No wonder the PS3 version was having all those issues. Sega must have half assed it. They should have delayed the PS3 version until they got it right. lol I all most want to go out a get a 360 now. :P

The Hardest Difficulty will cut your balls off and force feed them to you. You won't have to worry about it. This is Hideki Kamiya we're talking about. DMC1's EASY mode enemies were retarded punching bags. DMC1's HARD mode enemies made you wish they were punching bags. =P
