We rescued a little one born without teeth, hair and only one eye. We kept him ourselves as nobody wanted him. Glaucoma developed in his only eye and we had to remove it but he learned everything in the house and if you did not notice he had no eyes you would think he could see! He was the sweetest and dearest pet til the day he passed. We still miss him and I get choked up just writing about him. Gary

As owner of an animalshelter I'm used to cruelty to animals like the guinea-pig who needed surgery to take an eye away and a rat which had it's tail skin ripped off which had to be amputated. But this is so heartbreaking. I wish I could do something or take that dog in my home.

I thank Noah's Ark for their wonderfull work and hope that the person who did this will be paid back by karma.

I will admit, that is no way to treat any animal/person/or object. I'm not usually emotionally moved by these, but the fact that this dog's life has to change for that small amount of time when he was beaten, is just sickening.

What happened to Sammy is beyond words - to inflict such pain on an innocent creature is almost too much to bear witness to.
