  • I have the same radiused G&G shell in my Diablo and I'm planning to run it in sub-zero temperatures in a couple games over the next few weeks. With sorbothane on the cylinder head and a lighter spring, I'm really hoping it survives :) Were you running your shell in very cold weather when it cracked?

  • @maad416 This is not my own gun & never used it so I dont know.

  • I've ran my g&g set at 40 rps before.. ran for 100k rounds. lol

  • So are G&G gears any good?

  • @ihatenoobsauce 1'st gen blows, these 2'nd gen should be at least better than those.

  • @Maekiii

Being better than the first gen isn't hard. In face almost EVERY brand out there is better than the first gen G&G gears. G&G parts still suck and G&G guns are still pretty lousy value. If you must have them, scrape that shit out like a bad abortion and start over. Otherwise you get to build your gun twice. Right Maekii. ;)

  • @Maekiii Darn, my G&G has 1st Gen gears. They haven't stripped yet so I'll just keep them until they do.

  • Those shells do feel awfully light and brittle to me.

  • The shell still cracked even with the radius in the cylinder windows? Dang...

  • @KingdomOfJah The rubber pad on the cylinderhead is very thin and hard... that's why it didnt help.

  • @Maekiii On top of that G&G's gearbox material is very brittle.
