I cleaned off my Bobby Garrett Custom Pro III and had a blast playing along. This one of those songs I can do on either neck, as it is Texas Swing and not pure C&W mandatory E-9 material. I also raised the rods 2" to fit my fat but under the pedal steel more comfortably. Great old Bob Wills stuff. I even have an old Texas Playboy(s) custom Gretsch 22x2 watt bass amp some kid painted black. I love it regardless. The grill says "Texas Playboy(s)" on it. I need some Gretsch Tweed now & she's done!
Did the little horn break off the bottom of this guitar? I was guessing maybe those thinner parts were aluminum. I love the way you had the bending levers extended up along the angle of the forearm. Great playing by the way. Absolutely outstanding. The guitar looks a bit extreme for my taste, but I would still play it anyway. I bought an old ES 5 Sw Master with Carl Perkins style B bender on the headstock. It does use a Fender trem arm & misc hdwre. Its only good for 1st position or acrobatics.
