4-5 layers of tape per 100 sparklers, i have worked with fireworks since i was able to walk, weve been making bombs for 15+ years. getting caught with a sparkler bomb is a felony, not to mention if they charge you for making it yourself. have fun be safe, use less tape

What's funny since I've been doing this for 16 years is that you could have used 40 or 50 sparklers or less if you would just have used box tape or srap tape. I'm not kidding. As long as you wrap it as tight as you can ( ie using feet to hold tape, and using your arms to roll it until the tape makes THAT NOISE,) for five or six rolls with box tape, then you don't know what a sparkler bomb is. We call them cop callers. Electric tape expands, thus not very loud boom compared. Try tearing box tape
