I love this music so much.... but serious sam was always just way, WAY too hard for me. Well, it probably would've been easier if I set it to easy mode instead of hard mode, but I really don't want to. Even normal difficulty makes me tear my hair out. I honestly could never beat the City of Metropolis level in the First Encounter without setting the difficulty to easy first.

I remember i was playing multiplayer years ago with heaps of random people on mental difficulty, with tons of difficulty enhancing mods. I remember in The Serpent Yards someone activated the ultra mega explosion secret and killed us all. The highlanders could take 10 serious damage cannonballs and still have green health. Even the marsh hoppers were like wind gods. That was just so awesome. We would do it everyday but nobody would ever speak.

Forgot to mention, mordecai the summoner was hell. He summoned highlander's brides and max size lava golems, even the marsh hoppers he summoned could take a serious damage cannonball.

@INEEDZALL Yup. I always run out of minigun and laser ammo before all of them are dead, even though I always go in with full ammo and pick up more in the middle of the fights. After that, the entire horde just lunges on me and kills me instantly In most walkthroughs of that level, I see people using the cannon, even though I'm pretty sure you can't get the cannon by that point except through secrets.

@garrysmodmoviemaker1 You know, the way I got through it was through rocket jumping back over the spike pit and just use the grenade launcher to take them out while I sit in safety.
