what was the green herby looking ingredient she put in the tomato paste mixture after the sugar?parsley perhaps? did I miss what it was? great video loved it/mom was always a toss in oven method roll maker, but I am going to try stove top method..

I am an African American (not yet a bubbe) seeing your wonderful videos for the first time. I just made the stuffed cabbage for the first time with your help. It came out wonderful and my son loves it. Delicious!
we finns make them as well. If you cut off the base, sprinkle a bit of water over the top, just throw the whole cabbage in the microwave for 10 mins, half the mess of the pot. Sugarloaf are much easier to work with even though smaller. And butter and golden syrup or honey just basted over the top is easy and yum.
