  • I haven't had golabki in years. We'd eat them with a side of mashed potatoes and my Dad would put the sauce over everything. I've never tried it with raisins before, but I bet it tastes delicious. I can't wait to try it (along with many of your recipes). Thank you Bubbe for inviting us into your home!   • Bubbe; I made your receipe. Very good. I make sweet and sour with can of tomato soup, can of whole cranberry sauce, chile sauce, lemon and sugar. Also very good.

  • I wish I had known more about youtube back when my Grandmother was still alive & up cooking & baking cuz I would have made videos of her. She was a wonderful & talented cook as well. I would luv to have shared her here on youtube with others along with her recipes. I miss her so much!

  • I am an African American (not yet a bubbe) seeing your wonderful videos for the first time. I just made the stuffed cabbage for the first time with your help. It came out wonderful and my son loves it. Delicious!

  • then lay in baking dish with basted butter and honey, bake 45 mins @ 170, too easy and taste great.

  • we finns make them as well. If you cut off the base, sprinkle a bit of water over the top, just throw the whole cabbage in the microwave for 10 mins, half the mess of the pot. Sugarloaf are much easier to work with even though smaller. And butter and golden syrup or honey just basted over the top is easy and yum.
