Before you all get mad the reason why Oldboy is last is because I watched it on Netflix instant section and it was dubbed (I despise dubbed movies) . Other then that it was extremely good.

@jubbjubb155 I agree. Lady Vengence and Oldboy are great, but Mr. Vengeance is completely underrated, in my humble opinion. The music, acting, and fleshed out plot in each is AMAZING. Kudos to all the writers, actors etc... You can watch them over and over and get different layers of emotions. W.O.W. Simply amazing works of art.

Watched Lady Vengeance this morning at like 4AM, couldn't sleep and I had bought it, was sitting round waiting to be watched... Glad I did, needless to say after reading what people thought bout it after I'm gonna grab hold of Oldboy asap.

Parks films are all about visuals, Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance hardly has any dialogue, And Oldboy and Lady Vengeance has many subtle moments that you'll miss unless you pay close attention.

For example, the wierd painful grin Oh Daesu puts on whenever he's sad. It seems wierd and pointless, but then you remember that he spent the last 15 years in a room with a painting saying "Laugh, and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone". He took it to heart, since he didn't want to be alone.

In my opinion the second best movie from the trilogy, number one going to Oldboy for cinematic beauty, directorial brilliance and a modern soundtrack which listens as though written by one of the greatest composers of all time. Gives me goosebumps in my brain, love it.

I thought it was brilliant. Oldboy was incredible too, and I haven't seen Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance yet. The music in both Oldboy and this is so good. Particularly this one, it suits the irony of the story really well.

Mr vengeance is just as good but executed differently. There is no music in Mr vengeance at all. This is because the main character is death-mute so, it was an artistic decision.

You'll love it anyway.

i am quite sure that you mean the harpsichord. it was widely used during the baroque era , handel , scarlatti , even bach used it a lot .
