The black sand beach with the lava caves and fresh water underground ponds is the best stop! I could spend the whole day there! Also the beach in Hana was the best on in Maui. I could've taken the road to hana every day of our trip if I had the choice! hehe
there's so many fresh water ponds and some salt water ponds as well as waterfalls and lots of other places to visit. You just have to know where to go.
I visited Hana in 2004 i was overwhelm by the beauty of the place. I can't wait to visit again. It was my favorite place on the island. maui was beautiful.
interesting to call the falls "3 bears" ... no bears in Hawaii.

i saw this all july 13, 2009 i was truley amazed. i was so glad to go. my brother picked the right place to go for the make a wish foundation.
