yes it definitely depends on how you take care of ur auto lude...i used to beat on it everyday, and drove it in the sequential sportshift 95% of the time. after 2 years of driving it like this the tranny finally gave out. extended warranty FTW!! only had to pay like $100 to get it fixed. anyway, since this vid i have sold the lude and am now driving a 6 speed 2004 gto...

so how many transmission have you go thru? i know a guy who had his auto BB6 tranny rebuild 5 times and the guy he went to finally did a 5 spd swap for free just to keep him outta the shop

wow lucky guy (getting the 5 speed swap) i have rebuilt the tranny twice after 6 years of owning the car, but driving it hard almost everyday. sold the car couple of months ago...
