very sad video. people should be willing to adopt 1 or 2 or more cats/dogs and love them very much all ways and never think about surrendering your pets to an animal shelter even when life situations change. And make sure your pets are spayed and neutered. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats myself and love my cats/dogs very much and would never surrender my pets.

I don't think any animal lover could watch this without tears! Sadly it is true, thousands of pets are pts all over the world usually due to circumstances beyond their masters control.But circumstances rarely change over night, one usually knows in advance if the family pet has to go! PLEASE if u find yourself in this situation & u luv your pet, then repay it by trying hard to find a kind loving home for it; surely that's the least it deserves, for all the unconditional love it has shown u!

Excellent video of the dog's view of life when he's not wanted and doesn't understand what he had done to be out to sleep. I have & will always adopt the old & unwanted dogs,especially old Rotties. I want them to have a forever home & know that they are loved their last days. They are the sweetest, most loving & thankful dogs, you will ever meet. Their eyes  just melt my heart. My life has been Blessed & enriched so much by these dogs. I feel so forunate to get to adopt the unwanted old dogs.

I know this place, the pound, is a dogs only resort, and they care for them there, but why, cant people just enjoy the company of a loving, loyal dog for once? I know frolicking puppies are cute, but to me, I think older, friendlier dogs are better. As my grandmother has a nine year old dog called Major, and a pure great dane puppy that is nine weeks. This is THE SADDEST i have read in a long time. what is worse is the shelters that don't show even the little bit of kindness that was shown here. the shelters that take dogs out and shoot them, put them in a gas box and don't wait for them all to die before they dump them in a pit. I don’t understand why people buy a dog on the spur of the moment ...A dog is for life... if only people would think, it would save all this suffering, a dog can live up to 15yrs plus, so people please think! @markadoglet That is true, but I got my dog on a "spur of the moment" from my cousins pups and had 8 loving years from him until recently, when I had no choice but to move, as my family was pretty much being kicked out. I had to find another place and sadly my dog could not join as I would be homeless otherwise. Lucky for me he is with my grandfather until I find another place but that is life.. sometimes you just dont have any other option..

Dear god, the way the music stops so suddenly at the end... I was on the verge of tears the whole time, and the sudden silence is what pushed me over the edge.
