Just sat my Standard Grades last week...Fortunatly there weren't any questions asking for instructions on how to make gloopy crap. Seriously. Porridge making? As a small explanation for the governmental policy makers -

As the amount of 'good ides' and 'stuff' in education suggested by people who do not teach increases, the quality of that education decreases. This is inverse proportionality.

I've just sent this round a few colleagues at work - I teach for a living, at a different level to secondary but we still have to put up with CfE. What the Government seem to be missing is the fact that some of our greatest minds were produced under an education system wich was NOT learner centered or viewed all pupils equally regardless of ability.

I suspect CfE will produce a generation or two of numpties before it gets binned and feel truly sorry for pupils under this scheme.

@OlyJeebus I know! Although most of the teachers are pretty reluctant to conform to it, so they use other books instead. I was gonna do a little compilation video of teachers who disagree with the system, but they didn't want to in fear of losing their jobs. It's downright awful, and I decided to write my persuasive writing piece in my english folio about it. It's getting sent off to the Scottish Qualifications Authority. Give them a piece of my fucking mind!
