The original Combat Evolved was the second most fun I've ever had with a first person shooter (the most fun obviously being Goldeneye). That being said, the latest couple iterations of the game have fallen flat on their respective faces. Reach is horrible, and, while I'm in no way a CoD fanboy, I do prefer Black Ops to any other "new" FPS on the market right now.
