  • Bro, may I ask where did u buy and assemble your cockpit. Did u DIY yourself? what the exact place u bought, any website? I from Singapore, Love to get this amazing FS cockpit u have.

  • Where did you brought that?

  • I wish i had this in my room ,but is too expensive^^

  • I wouldn't like to crash, too realistic lol

  • Why must we be hated for our money?

  • The people who hate you for your money are to lazy to go out and get their own. Or lack the creativity and drive to make money when it seems impossible to do so.

  • I want I want!

  • how much did you spend?

  • nice setup and looks pretty smooth.

  • This is so amazing. Wow. What a great simulator.

  • wow i wish i had this man

  • what programe does it run on it

  • The main programs are MS Flight Simulator 2004 and Project Magenta software.

  • that is so kool, when u take off do you jerk back?

  • ... at this moment (not finished) round about 7K Euros...

  • 7k euros? how much a cessna costs? :D

  • Bro, may I ask where did u buy and assemble your cockpit. Did u DIY yourself? what the exact place u bought, any website? I from Singapore, Love to get this amazing FS cockpit u have.

  • These things cost upwards of 50k USD. Good luck forking up money for it.

  • Why would anyone do that? Pay 50k USD for this fake junk? Anyone who is thinking of do this, please go out to a local flight school and ask for a demo flight!

Costs like $150.00 and you will have the time of your life! Continue to get your pilot cert and you can fly for real any time!

  • In America, getting a pilot's license is about 30-40k after all expenses, depending on where you live. You can do this, but still spend around the same money.

  • Yeah, a commercial cert or Airline Transport cert. Cost me only $8,500 for my private pilot cert.

    50 hours in a citabria.

    FYI: It's a certificate not a license.

  • License/Cert., it does not really matter. If you wanted to be technical, it would be "License".

    PPL (Private Pilot's License).

    CPL (Commercial Pilot's License).

    ATP/ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot's License).

  • Technically, PPL, etc... is a misnomer - FAA refers to it as a CERTIFICATION. PPL Certificate. CPL Certificate. Just being technical... As a pilot, I have to be.

    Thanks.

  • All of the pilot's I know call it a License. Again, I doubt it matters. :)

Or maybe it's because we are from California. lol

  • On a side note, I am guessing you aren't a professional pilot.

Your attitude is not indicative of it. No offense.

  • incredibly stupid thing to say. no offense.

  • Your opinion is moot since what I said was the truth based on what I have witnessed first hand.

So go ahead and say whatever you like, it really has no bearing on anything.

  • No offense. :)

  • To be honest, I'd rather have my actual pilot license AND this simulator sitting at home.

  • No thanks... you can't feel the plane... or roll in it. feel gravity... I mean, are you seriously going to sit on your ass in this simulator and fly from one city to another - just to do it... how pointless.

When you fly a real airplane, when you arrive somewhere - you get to spend time there. not just land at a virtual airport and push power then go eat some Cheetos and jerk off...

  • i dont get why youre comparing a simulator to an actual aircraft. of course its not the same, its just a learning tool! =\ i understand where youre coming from but its obvious that its not the same! anyone who has spent time in both a real commercial sim and then goes to an actual commercial flight deck knows this firsthand.its a tool to hone in on how a particular aircrafts avionics are setup. Every aircraft is different so it builds comfort and confidence to navigate, communicate, & aviate!

  • All I have to say is SUPPORT YOUR FLIGHT INSTRUCTORS.

    Thanks.

  • I prefer to aviate, navigate and then communicate..

  • ...then again, I'm sure he gets internet - so, he could technically watch porn through his cockpit. This can't be done in a real plane... I would love to get into a bonanza and watch porn while flying to my destination.

  • how much was all of this ( including projector etc )?

  • As I told above: round about 7K Euros at this moment.

  • thats like not even that much lol

  • Thats around 11K is USD

  • heres wat i dont get. if youve got that much money to make and buy all this, why dont you just go buy a plane and get lessons.

  • Because renting an airplane costs money-- over and over, every time he goes out to fly. His home pit is paid for and he can fly anytime he wants...

  • lessons are 10,000 and a CHEAP cessna 172 plane is 20,000 and if you rent a plane its 130-165 USD :)

  • I think after paying for this its liek the end. Like if you buy it and waste 11k, You waste 11k and the money ends there. For a plane you have to pay for fuel and insurance which cost way more =]

  • True... But, where do you really go? No where... you leave and arrive in the same destination. I mean, if this was a huge fighter jet simulator - then Sure, I get it... It's quite expensive for Aerobatic lessons.

However, Getting you private cert, 9k - then if you want to fly to (depending on where you live) Vegas - Pop into a plane with a few of your buds, and you're off! You don't ask your friends to come over and sit in the back of this thing... for a couple hours, then play texas holdem!

  • Unless you have 1 million bucks laying in your hands...Then duhh buy a Cessna or something that costs like 700k and spend the others. But for 11k i think if you want a lesson, you just get license and to rent a plane is not too cheap. People have different opinions what can i say

  • You can pic up planes in good shape for around 45 - 70k. Then what you do is add the plane to the fleet of a club which will allow it to be rented. This will allow you to reduce your maintenance costs.

True, renting the plane isn't "cheap" but, if you get a few guys to go with you to "say" Vegas, Tahoe... etc... then you split the cost and it's quite reasonable. Less than $200.00/pp to fly when/where you want within a 3 hour radius. Granted, it's not close to airlines. But, you are flying.
