I think I saw a ghost once. I was out in the country, and I looked to one side and I saw this dark cloud that was shaped like a person near the ground like 10 feet infront of me. Then it disappeared and was like 20 feet to my left. And it kept disappearing and reappearing the entire time I was there. I was pretty much scared shitless.

@ThisismadnessGIRL There is some artifacting noise from bringing the EVP up to it is easier to hear. I think maybe that it what you were thinking was whispering? The only things I hear are me asking the question and the EVP response.

I think the creepiest 1 I heard was a family moving out of their home due to "paranormal activity" the Mom (least I think it was) has a recorder saying something like: "We're leaving and taking the baby" The tape is played back and you hear a growling voice say: "The baby is staying". Not every EVP does sound "ghostly" as you put it. They sound many different ways. This is a real ghost recording, I was the only one on the floor at the time. If you had recorded many hundreds of EVPs like I have, you would realize that.

Hi.. I mainly use Adobe Audition. I also use the Clearvoice Denoiser program sometimes.. it does a good job of getting rid of background noise.
