  • Awesome crowd you guys had.

  • needs some work on the vocals but other then that pretty good

  • wow u guys had a fucking amazing audience super high energy performance just all around great

  • damn this is such a good cover. 5 stars and all that shit

  • getn into character n shit lmao

  • they pulled it off perfect 5/5 stars just like dave matthews and great vocals

  • long enough intro??

  • i believe its the same intro as dmb at Folsom field

  • Typically they always do this intro live, but the "take it easy ya'll" is from the Gorge I believe

Excellent cover, rarely do I see bands that play this intro

  • good cover, but you cant really have a dmb song without the horns and strings

  • "take the chancEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS"

  • only 3 guys? nice job : )

  • Cool.....for school....

  • drummer is sub par, singer isnt bad but it annoys the FUCK outta me how you talk to the crowd the same way dave does. Do your own thing man

  • your drumer is nice but your singer is god awful

  • thats awesome

  • dave?

  • nice...go check out my dmb cover...peace.

  • i am very impressed this is a great cover of the song. verry good keep it up

  • Great job you guys! I tend to be extremely critical as I've been playing drums for 26 years, and my band covers this song as well... Once again great job, and anybody who posts negative stuff about this obviously knows nothing about musicianship and is likely speaking out of their own unresolved issues. Great Job!!!

  • the singers trying to be like dave matthews, which is pissing me off.

  • i prolly already commented earlier, but dam. this is awesome

  • PLEASE TAB THIS PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

  • google it.

  • this is sick....way to jam i love it. hardly any kids do that these days but you fellas know how to have some fun, dont let these shitty comments bring you down you guys got a lot of potential!

    rock on

  • Thought they jammed.....they did jam. Play On Fellas!

  • oi drumdon. get fucked. ur a fucking retard.

these dudes r rlly rlly good and i doubt ud be able to do better. keep in mind this is an amateur recording, hardly does the performance justice....they did an awsome job take ur annoying negative bullshit and stick it up ur arse. if u can get ur head out of it first. i hate people like u who only come here to give people shit. get fucked.

  • this is great but it's TOO much like dmb

  • I must concur with "Carterito"... you really do suck. Give it up and write your own music.

  • fuck you man. this is great jam, it doesn't matter if they wrote the music or not.

  • dude...these kids are rockin out.

  • hey guys..check out the dave matthews tribute band. they are on youtube! type in Dave Matthews Tribute Band

  • u suck

  • Hey my friend get a life. I dont see your band and if you have one post it so I can give a critique. Have a grey goose nite

  • man ... ur drummer sucks, he made soooo many mistakes just in one song ... and someone said before, the "take these chances" part is awful, why the fuck did u scream like that???

  • if you watch dave never sings falsetto like that live he usually "Yells" the take these chances part wach the video of ants marching live in central park...good job guys not bad

  • I still think you guys do a pretty decent job...but I think that drummer in the video could've done better soloing through boyd's solo part by keeping the rythym going somewhat and adding some major spice to the rythym.

  • the "take these chances" part almost blew my fuckin head off

  • quite a jit your drummer has.. does he have a similar percussion setup as carter, with the chimes, low end jam block and/or cowbell?

  • its somewhat similar, though he has changed it alot since this show.

  • not bad.. drummer does need to slow down slightly and allow the guitar to lead the intro. spent 2 tours with dmb so i've heard ants plenty. these guys would really benifit from a horn section

  • thanks, we have had a sax player and violinist with us, they do ad quite alot

  • I saw you guys at the Tradewinds in Sea Bright NJ a long time ago. Are you still playing in the area? Do you have a website?

  • weve never been to NJ, sorry, strictly Minnesotan.

  • man..how'd you manage to score that gig?

  • Note to drummer...the whole song isn't a drum solo. See if you can buy some rhythm on the internet.

  • greaat!

  • Pretty good. Your drummer rocks!

  • honestly... im a hugggge dmb fan... and this is just annoying. not very good... at all.

  • Well I guess you dont have any fucking musical background to play an instrument ass monkey let me see youe show

  • don't be so insulting..the copy is not going to be as good as the original

  • You guys were rushing before you even finished your little intro. Also, the singer is in his own key while the rest of the band is still in D. Keep trying guys.

  • dont worry, haha, we sucked, recent videos are coming

  • He sounds just like the real singer, it's almost to similar

  • you guys are the only band ive seen who can cover dmb well

  • Cuulda done without the signature "Take it easy ya'll". That's just silly. Otherwise, nice job.

  • don't kid yourselves. I mean, these guys are talented, but all they do is cover DMB. write your own songs already. stop living in other people's shadows. plus, their drummer acts like he's carter beauford. every time they play, they go over their alloted time and screw over other bands that are supposed to play after them. it's selfish as hell.

  • who are you? weve writtne about 13 of our own songs, chill out, and weve seriously cut down the dave by alot.

  • as far as covering others material...you almost have to do that so that you can get your own stuff known. it's called using an open door. do you know these guys personally or are you just going by what's on the video?

  • actually I do. ive been at 2 shows where my buddy's band got pushed back, and one time didn't even get to finish a full set, because PC ran long. they were supposed to get off the stage but their drummer took the mic and said, "do you want us to go, or do you want to hear us play one more song?" look, they're talented kids, and i hope they do well, there's just that lack of courtesy that bugged me and rubbed off as arrogance.

  • okay...sorry if I came off sounding arrogant...internet's notorious for random non musical people just totally ripping on something/someone they may/may not know anything about....glad i asked you before i really opened my mouth.

  • it's all good. i couldn't agree more.

  • wow! a solid cover indeed! great job!

  • I'm quite impressed! I can't even miss the fiddler and the sax, you guys did a great job!

And his imitation of Dave's dance is very close to the original! haha!

  • I agree with Purexxtascy.Pulling off a good DMB cover as a trio and making it feel full, is no small feat. (The super funkified version, no less!) Although the fiddle/sax are essential to the orig. feel, I didn't miss them in your cover. Kudos to all three of you for making me remember why I loved DMB in the first place. As a drummer myself, I need to give props to your drummer. Carter still rules! I hope he sees this video. I'm sure he'd get a kick out of seeing you cover his stuff!

  • You guys did an AWESOME job on this, I'm SURE Dave would agree.

  • thats my fav BMB song and I must say at 16 you guys did an incredible cover. bright future ahead.

  • ah! the bass is too muddy! or that be just the recording...but solid cover.

  • I'm a huge DMB fan and haven't heard anyone doa solid cover, ever.

Until now... you all are great!

    Keep up the hard work!

  • This is the shizzle. Awesome stuff!

  • great job.

  • WOW! i to am a die hard dave fan and I am quite impressed

  • the first 3 words of the first verse...hairs stood up on end...perfect

  • nice pretty good, like how ur own style shows as well

  • well done - your vocals are spot on

  • i'm feeling this. and i'm diehard DMB.

  • well lets see some updates.. lol

  • its pretty weird without a sax player but you guys are pretty good

  • we actually have a sax and violin player now, this was a year ago

  • how old are you guys and how old were you when you did this? the drummer is off the hook

  • we are 17 now, 16 then, yes, our drummer is regarded as one of the greatest young drummers in our area
