If you like this, I suggest you check out Another Green World or Music for Airports or On Land. I am far from an Eno expert, but those are typically regarded as "the classics", along with some others. None of it sounds exactly like this, really, but almost all of it is truly top notch,
Believe it or not I found out about this Brian Eno guy about 10 min ago from a skinny puppy fan. He suggested this group and I am glad he did. This is the first Brain Eno song I have ever heard and so far its like nothing Ive ever heard before. Does he have any better stuff than this or did I just get lucky?
when i was working loading trucks in a warehouse, i was training a new guy: this was 20 years ago - talking about music, when he asked if i'd heard eno, and i told him i had his records, there was an immediate and long lasting bond created - when you meet someone who listens to this music, there's a unique intermingling of minds
Back in the early 1980s, I and a friend bought all the ENO, Harold Budd, and Hassell ambient music. We spent so much time just experiencing the grace of this music. About a year and a half ago, I gave away all my LPs from that time to a long-time friend. I hadn't heard this in a long time.
@supersteevo1000 hey, enjoy. the rest of the album Fourth World Vol. 1 - Possible Musics is as superlative. rewards continuous listening/non-listening
After finding this album, I sought out some other Jon Hassell stuff which was quite good as well. Including the stuff he did with Bluescreen which was completely underrated and remains one of my favorite albums from the 1990's
oh goosh...what an incredible song

This is a BEAUTIFUL piece that I've been trying to find forever, to no avail.
I first heard it on "New Sounds" via NPR, but I didn't get the title.
This was some years ago, but the piece was always in the back of my mind.
Lo and behold I find it here...in YT.
A million thanx, Brugadd!

Try playing the record at 45 rpm. You may like it better (if that's possible).
