Wouldn't these little guys be happier in their own natural environment? Why we should make entertainment out of everything? Well, maybe karma would teach us a lesson.
if i even saw a snake in my area, id freak out. very scared of them. i think in my entire life, i may have seen 3 snakes in all my years.. 1 garder snake, one black racer and one green one. have no idea what it was but i really only seen the tail end of it, the last 10 inches of it.. well, i will see you on discovery channel one day, on that show where ppl have poison snakes for pets and then get bitten..... oh boy, make for a good upcoming show
Actually, shipping is VERY stressful for snakes and if they have recently eaten the stress can cause them to regurgitate which can cause severe problems during shipping.
Most experienced breeders won't ship a snake with food in it's stomach for health reasons. Also, every baby snake I received through shipping came in hungry and ready to eat and have right after placing them in their new home.
Wow , nice snakes , but i dislike to see a snakes at my home , this is very terrible for me =) . This is disgust for me. My appetite has deteriorated now=)
Good god! Why do pet store owners ALWAYS get too nervous around poisonous snakes to feed them, obviously if they're hungry, they'd be more likely to bite you!
what do you do with these snakes you catch???? do you have places to put them. becuase they will almost 100% die in that little glass tank you have with nuthing in it??? just asking cus i hate when people get snakes and dont know how to care for them...
@figueroaedgar15 I add stuff to the tank later - this isn't how I keep them. I take some photos, see if they'll eat, shoot some video - and let them go. No sense keeping any animal in a box.
@racenemo ha! Yeah, I don't really play with these suckers either. They always have energy - always striking... Baby didn't even get to SEE these tasmanian devils!
@GetMeThere1 haha! Yes, and will be nobody to upload that last video. I'll make sure my wife knows she has to do that - as a tribute, and to help stop others from being stupid. Thanks for that heads-up.
Thanks for all the work you put in to making these videos. Your videos are a highlight for me when i log into youtube. I enjoy watching them. Snakes fascinate me, Thailand fascinates me. Monocled Cobras, man, your passionate about your critters. I have been to Vietnam 3 times, and in January i might be able to include thailand for a week in my 4 week holiday plans. Your other "gross grub" video, well, i like to eat cultural food, just not THAT cultural.
@danlnad It's really fun to get these things on film. Wish I could show you what it's really like to be just inches from something that could kill you - and it's totally in your hands, whether you live or die based on whether you do something dumb or not. I try really hard not to be dumb, but already I've done a couple stupid things. No bites yet though. Thanks for writing - yes, come to Thailand I think it's different than Vietnam, and you'll like it too.
whoa, those look fierce! Do they get any bigger? And honestly, I don't know how you can handle those snakes. I'll mess with Pythons and Boa Constrictors, but not these cobras, hell no!
Strange, cobras are generally thought of as garbage disposal snakes, eating pretty much anything. Pinky mice should trigger a feeding response for sure. Might be something to try if there's a next time!
Incase you want to remove them, how do you do? You can't really grap them, can you?
