It's OK, but it's a loop. The guy only got about three strokes. It would be hotter if we could hear the sound of the whip rather than the house music.
Some of the lashes were not visible, but were just audible in the flashback scene. It was about 6 or 7 audible cracks in the flashback, alone ... not to mention what it really was total.

I can see by the comments that I am in one of the few places predominantly populated by pervs like me. This really is delightful. And yes, like others here, I know I'm terrible. I really liked this scene in context too: to see such a stoic alpha male shattered in pain like that.
The steam rising from the cuts, the post rocking back and forth with the force of each blow, the specks of sweat, blood and flesh flying off of his back each time the lash kisses it. This is one of the finest cenematic floggings I have seen in a long time. I am really disappointed that the DVD didn't have an extended scene.
Tsk. Maybe there will be one later. I heard someone say something about Stiglitz having an extended scene in some prequel that may or may not happen (Donowitz too). We'll see. :P
