I knew Ray Hunt and worked with John Lyons' system after a weekend seminar/demonstration; I talked with John because his stallion Dream was atKindness Animal Hospital in Napa, Idaho where we saved my stallion from a 350 degree deglovement of a hind leg. Dream didn't make it; Donner did. Took 13 surgeries and a 100% foundered, totally delaminated hoof. It grew back with frog and white line. I have the original hoof. I handled Donner much as KFH does. He cooperated fully and helped us save him.

Hi Klaus, I am just watching this again - it is wonderful. the look of relief on that horse that finally he has met someone who understands his world - and he then allowed his pain to show through because he knew he was safe. Truly amazing - I hope I can really connect like that with Magnum.

I cried the first time I saw this sequence on the DVD, and I cry again each time I see it. The eyes of the stallion are so full of relief, like he is letting go all the sadness and the fear he contained. This moves me to very deep of my heart. This is what horsemanship means to me. Thank you Klaus!

What an impressing demonstration. Unfortunately most people think that only a few privileged people can do this, as rockinghorsefrm puts in in this earlier comment. As a lifetime learner, I heard one thing very often: "A horse is like a mirror, and it's reflecting what you are." Watching this amazing and moving video, I really understood and it brought me to tears. So many horses would need a human being able to really connect with it and heal it. Thank you. ~Evelin~

BRILLIANT!!!! This is the best clip ever! This demonstrates what is REALLY important. So important - Klaus has a RESPONSIBILITY to teach it. Please don't be distracted by all the heady ego stuff. Teach this. Give the human the EXPERIENCE that you had in that arena with that stallion and the human WILL heal! You take them with your words into their heads and NOTHING happens! They don't have the experience to match the words.They think only YOU can do it. The gap is vast - no words can span it!
