Hay Shawn i have a question is the guy your playing using a pre heresy Emperor's Children army

(Space Marine Codex) because there arent any speeders from the Chaos codex to my knowledge! hail's from Australia :)

If you're counting as area terrain at 20:30 ish then you would have gotten a 4+, If the unit shooting is 3" or more into the terrain the unit being shot gets a 4+

YES I've been waiting to see you run your Eldar again. I picked up the Eldar, and painting a variation of your Oceanic Eldar but making just a general beach theme. I played around with the idea of painting warp spiders as crabs and swooping hawks as seagulls....it would be funny to look at!

@makooma The key to having fun with 40K is just that, IMHO - simply have fun. Don't worry about unbalanced armies, sketchy rules, etc, just play for fun, narrative, and time spent with friends. Fundamentally, 5th edition isn't flawed much at all, so you shouldn't have many issues anyway...

I still have yet to find an army I have fun playing, so far I've only played as Vanilla Marines and Orks though so eh. I like the Orks more but that's just cause I'm an all around orc fan.

@TimmyTheNerd That's true, but chances are you'll find the right army, given enough experience. What gets me, though, is the tournament-goers. Of course, they're not all this way (I'd say only a few are, really), but those few that always gripe about unbalanced codices ruining their chances of success annoy me to no end. If they have a problem with the balance of the system, why go to competitions at all? It's a game, for crying out loud, lol.

Makes me glad that there aren't that many people complaining about Balance when it comes to Heroscape, since anyone can recruit any unit in the game, regardless of faction. You can easily stop 'OP' armies by finding out their weaknesses and using that to your advantage, that's why I love Miniature Wargames, they make you think and some constantly have you trying new things. ^_^

You cant have 7 termies and lysander in a land raider, they count as two models each and a Raider only has 12 slots. Also how can vulkan be attached to lysanders command squad?

@kevinmcd28 Crusader can transport 16 models unlike other variants of LR

And Command Squad is a normal unit, not a hero upgrade you just need the lysander in your army to be able to take it, he does not need to attach to it.
