Just simply saying that will make it so that the comment won't be perceived as homosexual, some people will and some people won't. It depends on the person but still, haven't you never heard the phrase: "If you have nothing good to say, don't say it at all."? I could say that I hate people who feel the need to always correct, or have to point out meaningless things. I do, but its better to just not. =)
