i love the r32, but im not a fan of the tiptronic auto tranny. i understand that the shift point are more precise but i just feel that manual tranny and clutch make you have a real feal for the car, that is the only reason i woudnt but a mkv

@shanemm1 In Europe you can get the MK5 with manually transmission. But I prefer the DSG box. It's faster more and fuel efficient.

ummm.. its still the VR6...The R32's muscle is provided by its namesake, the awesome 3.2 liter naturally aspirated narrow angle VR6 engine, which provides 250 horsepower and 236 ft. lbs. of torque. (article taken from magazine)

@vwboratt the diference betwin v6 and vr6 is that the vr6 as the same admition as honda in the v-tec its the same origine and the v6 is a traditional injection.

The VW V6's that are VR6 have one head for both banks. The V6 in the Tourag is not a VR6 as it has two heads. Thats the difference :-)

no its still vr6. the r32 has a vr6 the passat/cc have the vr6 option as well as the tourag they are vr6 and the routan has a regular v6 2 completely different engines

im not talking about the minivan... touareg is badged as a V6... it has a VR6 engine. do you get it now? they only have V6/V8 as a petrol option, then v6/v10 as a diesel option. same as the passat, badged as a 3.6 V6.. it is a VR6. but you are right they also make a regular v6. my question was what does the touareg come with. it was confusing me since it was VR6.. with a V6 badge. but its cleared now, thanks

the vr6 has a 15 degree angle between the cylinders and they are staggard. the v6 is just like a normal v6 block.

Hi mate, I just got the Milltek res on today. Does the sound 'bed in' or get deeper/louder, as it's still a bit quiet but feel the non res would be much more volume.

Just put darker reflectors on that car then it would flow with the darken tail lights. The exhaust sound is just beautiful on all the r32s'
