@SoundzAddict Hi greg, yes i can send you the tab for this, you will need to send me a message with your email address so i can send jpeg file to you, regards, Jack.
Well played mate!! To @ bdiddly , I'm a guitarist in Glasgow and have been playing scruggs style banjo for two years. I'm lovin it!! The neck is quite similar to guitar but the fingerpicked rolls take a bit of practise. It's well worth it though! Good luck. Let me know if you need any advice. Cheers. Garry
brilliant mate, greetings from scotland!i am thinking of learning to play banjo,i already play guitar,is it a difficult instrument to learn,or is it basically the same as guitar?
@Bdiddly1 class decision to learn the banjo. I played banjo as first instrument, all of 25 years ago now, then picked up guitar many years later. Because of that I cant strum at all, but the banjo is able to be played many styles, I usually play scruggs style, you pick with patterns and learn melody notes on top, lots of free lessons on YT, if you play guitar already you are way ahead and will get started quickly. Banjo is the best instrument, you will love it.
@jackn1969 -cheers mate!i have had a wee look at some of the teqnique&the forward roll for example is basicaly the way i fingure pick anyway so i am defo gonna get a banjo&thanx very much for your reply mate
Glad you liked it and Im glad to hear the lads at SAS are doing ok, look out for more banjo videos in the future Im planning some Scott Jopling to keep Dave happy.
hi jack this is auntie ann and bowe. we think you sooooo good you used to be so quiet. give your dad your email and i will send you message. loadsa love xxx
Cheers Kev, look out for more, I neglected playing for many years but am starting up banjo again. Reminds me a lot of me n Dave playing duelling banjos at the log cabins at Keilder, neither of us could stand up (blame the drink) but man.. we picked a mean tune! Erm yes, thats what astronomy is all about.
never heard it played like this.. nice rolls.. reminds of some fingerstyle guitar. nice voice as well.. i watched it all without scrolling through or picking at anything haha
Great attempt, I like this version! I reach the tab for a banjo player I know, can you send it to me please? thanks, Greg

Thanks for that, sometimes its nice to try new things with old tunes, or in the case of a banjo.. to try old things with a new tune!
