the comentary is execelent 5/5, but you should know that you dont have to be all the time at full speed, because it could give you accident on real life, normally full trottle is only used for tacking off, and when you need to ascend really quickly. To make stunts, you should be at 3/4 of the trottle, and never pass of 400 kias

The default F/A-18 has very bad flight dynamics and many other things like the cockpit functionality, ground handling/landing gear modeling, and lack of payload/fuel tanks are very disappointing

I really with some one can just take this plane and do some reworking with it , as a fan of the f-18 , i was very disapointed in the flight dynamics and how thick the missle rails were , so unrealistic , i think iris or vrs would have done a good damn job redoing an f-18C.

The acceleration hornet is fun and all but there are some major problems with it. There is no way a hornet can reach 900 or more knots in real life, there is wayyyy to much power in the engines, the hud dosen't have a landing bracket (but there is a great freeware hud fix out there) and the wheel and air brake screw up usually. I also have the superbug and I have to say, the guys at VRS did an amazingly accurate job in both function and preformance.

I got to get some flight time in with the Navy pilots when i was in the Army. I got to sit in the back of a F/A-18 Super Hornet and that was pretty sweet. I was on the Nimitz. Flying over Iraq was pretty cool. Its mostly desert.

The engines are atleast 30-45% overpowered. The thrust-weight ratio in the simulator is more than 1:1. You also must of pulled more than 7.5G's in this video. With the minimum radius turn, turn at full stick deflection at 350-400 for the F/A-18A.

The F-18's engines aren't the most powerful engines out there. They are only capable of producing 17,750 lbs thrust with afterburner. It's very maneuverable because it's lighter than most aircraft.
