This song "Goodbye" was recorded by Nino Tempo. Beautiful and haunting. Frank Foster was a giant among musicians. His song "Shiny Stockings" rang in my ear for two weeks after his transition.

Having worked with both Ronnie and Frank Foster, I can only say that this is a heart felt and fitting memorial to a wonderful player and a tribute to truly wonderful arranger. I'm sure Frank is looking down on Ron, Angela and Matt with happy memories of his wonderful life and his music! He will be sorely missed but fondly remembered for all his wonderful arrangements for Basie and others!
