Why is ND fighting a peaked super-flyweight in Narvaez? He should be stepping up to top 118 and 122 pounders. This fight does nothing for him except keep him busy.

speed is not skill, its an attribute. Pacman has speed but Donaire has more skills. Compare manny's right hook with nonito's left hook, Donaires left hoook is wayyyyyyyyyyyy better than mannys lead right hook. Donaire defense is better. I think manny has a slightly better cross tho.

@crankyboiy yeah nonito gets hit a lot, but i do believe his defense is superb. its probably because he has a bit of pacquiao in him. hes a counter puncher who's not afraid to trade punches. kinda like marquez, but his style is a mixture of floyd, pacquiao, and de la hoya. he has a bit of something from those three fighters.

speed is not skill, its an attribute. Pacman has speed but Donaire has more skills. Compare manny's right hook with nonito's left hook, Donaires left hoook is wayyyyyyyyyyyy better than mannys lead right hook. Donaire defense is better. I think manny has a slightly better cross tho.

@kebbun1 donaire left hook is probably the best in the business. and theres no doubt donaire is more skillful than manny. but mannys a beast in the ring. im a big pacquiao fan even before america knew about him. the cool thing about nonito is, he always gives credit to pacquiao... saying if it wasnt for manny he wouldnt be where he is now. and also said if he can just accomplish half of what manny has done he'd be very happy. but i think nonito will surpass manny someday.

The thing is nonito had the potential and talent to accomplish what manny did but never came to fruition. He has all the skills in the world to be a mega star but he will not surpass manny in accolades. Manny is a linear 8 division world champ. Nonito a fly weight and bantam weight champ, hes 27 now the clock is ticking. By refusing not to move up in weight and fighting Gamboa will only hurt his legacy.

@kebbun1 nonito will move up, but it will take some time. if he rush, it may affect his speed. and you have to make sure you stay sharp against someone like Gamboa. to me he looks like a short welterweight with speed and power. in the gym ive seen so many buff people who weight only 126 pounds because theyre short. my point is Gamboa's weight is very decieving. i think donaire knows that. and Gamboa is someone that he needs to prepare for properly. hopefully donaire will be ready 2013

El único que lo a tumbado fué el Sonorense Orlando "siri" Salido quién hace poco le quitó el campeonato y lo invicto y a domicilio a Juanma López, otro que tenían ó tienen en la mira para enfrentar al Flash; y sabes que?, no la hacen ninguno de los dos vs Nonito. @1topgorgon just in case u haven't seen pacman's ealry fights before he made it big, nothing came easy to him. he fought the best in every division. remember PAc had to go thru the 3 GREat mexican fighters marquez, morales and barrera and he was still raw at that time. the guy just works harder than everyone else and still keeps improving. he has punching power and stamina before he had freddie roach but roach made him a better fghter.
