@Blabloo72 Look up the word "dive". You'll find usage notes for past tense there. E.g., Merriam-Webster dictionary says, among other things, " 'Dove' exists in some British dialects and has become the standard past tense especially in speech in some parts of Canada."

You know i was in upland ca. when this happened.  Everyone around me said earthquake, but i didnt feel anything. I think it would have to be right in my area for me to feel it. The earthquake that shook upland in 1990 I felt, but then it broke everything in my house.

@lovelyromania: Yes 7.2 in Mexico. Apparenlty this was filmed in L.A. someplace...far away from the epicenter, therefore it's quite lite and that's why you see everything rather calm. Farther the way you are, less you're going to feel...more rolling feeling and actually kinda nice.

@chaoscleaner To be fair, the description says they are in a 7.2 earthquake, therefore people are expecting to see the actual shaking to happen. Not them laughing about being in what is actually, in LA, a 3.0 or something (I was in that earthquake they were talking about since I was farther south).

I remember that earthquake, kind of. I was at L.A at a public park, and my aunt yelled "EARTHQUAKE!!!!". I looked around the park an almost everyone froze and looked at a light-pole shacking back and forth. But I didn't feel the floor shake somehow.
