The UI has never bothered me because I have played since the original OFP and the controls have never significantly changed...

But with ArmA 2 I think the devs were a little arrogant; the UI is not at all informative for the new players, they just assume you know every key off by heart and never need to be told what each button actually does :P

But thankfully vets like meself never even think about what we're pushing lol.

I mean, they're now no longer an economic threat as they're proponents of (their rather harsh) capitalism... but they still violate human rights and can hardly be called a democracy; they've also not lost their influence and military power.

No sorry... You will find them all on ArmA info... I lost my CD key for this game about a week or two after making this vid so I haven't played it in years... the only major mod was an AI haulover... otherwise, just look for stuff like "Russian Army" or "Mi-24"... I think I had some compilation pack of all the Russian gear and reskins.

But you can set it so that when you die you can switch to another, just set an NPC as 'playable'.

Either that or they don't teach you at all. American History in almost all my schools entirely consisted of Indians and the civil rights movement. Not true. In this scenario, Russia probably would win. The beach had minimal defences at best, and a shortage of troops on the US side. Russia had attack choppers and hundreds of troops. Any attempts to fly in reinforcements by air would come to late or be halted by the BMPs and, eventually, Shilkas and BTRs with SAM pods. Not to mention it looked like a suprise attack.
