solo he pasado contra en hard 1 sola vez (despues de 1 mes de preparacion fisica y mental U_u!) , ese dia quize llorar TT__TT , despues de eso lo he vuelto a intentar pero me quedo en el maldito cerebro.

es impresinante q este gammer lo haya hecho con 13 vidas (algo extraño ya que no tiene arma pesada )

The ending music in this game sounds similar to the Commando film's main theme, especially for the soft part of Commando's theme when John Matrix picks up his daughter Jenny after chopping wood.

Hey....if you see the Japanese version endings, you may discover that all these photos are identified by years of their battle (from 2633- 2636 AD). The reason it is removed by American version is the difference of story base with Japanese version!!!!

Best Contra game of them all, and that could be pinned down to the ending music alone. Very military and epic sounding, especially 1.29 + where it sounds bitter sweet about all the destruction, but at least the aliens have been eradicated..for now...

Hard Core Game, but original Contra for NES is more difficult than this game.

By the way, the music sounds on an original SNES better than with any emulator, because no emulator can emulate correctly the low pass filter.

I actually through HARD work by MYSELF beat the game on HARD without Dying even once. NOTE: I only did this one time. The Hardest stage is the 5th boss(sandworm), and to beat or cheat is to keep killing the alien tentacles attacking you and keep it up until you get about 5 or more bombs. Same strategy for the Final boss(The Brain).

Aw man. I've finished it on easy and normal but I can't finish it on hard. This guy is so manly that after he defeats an alien race and stops the invasion he flies off holding onto the torpedo of a helicopter.
