To be precise Magic Mountain had the first looping steel coaster with a teardrop design for safety.. The first looping coasters were wood or a combo of wood with a steel loop. They popped up in the mid to late 20's but since they were not properly designed (They were completely circular) people would either get severe whiplash or the train didn't get enough speed to go through the loop and many accidents occured so they were banned.

Corkscrew was not the 1st coaster to go upside down, it was the 1st coaster to go upside down 3 times, The park they sold the corkscrew to was cedar point

Knott's Berry Farm's Corkscrew was the first roller coaster to go upside-down. It was built in 1975 and was then moved to Silverwood Park in Idaho in 1989.

Cedar Point's Corkscrew was built in 1976, it's a different coaster.

I always felt that, Knott's need to demolish the water park (for God sake they have 3 in SoCal!) and build a retro theme park by bringing back some of their most popular rides like: The Corkscrew, The Pirashute, Roaring 20's car ride, Wackysoap Box races and the motorcycles.

They can put these old rides at the location were Knott's Soak City is located, they have alot of space, I use to work there. This one theme park did just that, in another state.

I think KBF can do the same.

DJ is fucking retarded! Boomerang is one of the best coasters at Knotts. And Supreme Scream is only 254 ft tall. Either way Boomerang rocks DJ sucks!

Boomerag is really awesome as long as you only ride it once when you are there. Yuo have to a loser like dj not to like it. I hope I don't ever run into him when I go to Knott's. He doesn't deserve to enjoy my favorite theme park.
