ME is really win 98 3rd edition.Gates just changed the name so the masses would buy it.Honestly I have never had a real prob with ME. I un it on old laptop and play older games that XP and vista cant run.Something to say about the old stuff.Kind of like keeping an old car and restoring it.Less bells and whistles mean less stuff to fix when its plastic component breaks and you can fix it yourself instead of having a PC guy rip you off.Every one mbrace Win 3.1 through ME

i love windows me i have it on my computer it's VERY good it's 10 years old and it's never crashed or bluescreened in it's life! i've never even had one little problem with it! my windows vista is 1 month old and has crashed twice VIVA LA WINDOWS ME!!!!!

@victoriatodd Your VERY lucky.ME had so many problems written into the actual OS, that microsoft, came out and admited it sucked, and then sent out trouble shooting guides(still around today because it was that bad).My family only had it for one year,and when it crashed,one of my family members, who taught computers at a profesional level(she's a web master for a comapany as well, and also taught DOS),said to get rid of it.We called tech spport, and they told us to take a hammer 2 our computer.

@victoriatodd me too, me never ever crash on me, it was realy more stable than 98, the only ms os that crash on me is 7. So i donwgraded to Vista because i want aero and the old style taskbars too, and after some tweaks vista is realy stable
