Much love to John Mayer. One of my favs. I love watching artists whose instruments look like they are attached to them. It's almost as if instrument just happens to be there in the way as the music comes out. I love watching Boyd Tinsley of DMB sing along with his fiddle...
damn i never realized john mayor was an amazing guitar player, always knew he was good but never that good damn. Not much of a strat guy myself but shit that strat sure as hell did sound awesome. what a solo simply great
I'll never understand why some people go to a concert, and insist on talking from beginning-to-end-stay home and drink beer, talk as much as ya like-but if you are a concert, please shut up and let the music lovers enjoy the music, what you have to say is of no interest or importance-siddown and shuddup!
I was near the front row for this, probably the most perfect live rendition of any song I've ever heard. (Except for Layla --> Cocaine a few hours later. But EC's God, so it's hard to argue).
And that Castles in the Sand lick at the end: choice.
i can just confirm what you guys are saying. i was there too, and john blew me away. his duffy cover was incredible, have never heard a better artist-constellation than this weekend before. my favourite was crossroads at the end together with eric clapton and sheryl crow. that was a blast baby!! :D
good video, thanks! you were very close to the stage, makes me a little jealous!
Brilliant, very quick addition as it was only yesterday. Great shot of the guys bald head!! Not seen John Mayer before, so was impressed yesterday, especially this song, and his nifty version of Mercy! All round a really good day in the park, great weather, great music, plus God was there!
i was there, it was marvellous i became red as a pink floyd because of the sun with my gf but i was really touched when i finally saw my idol.thanks john
