It's funny how people complain about the graphics. If you think about it... EVERY Zelda game has been "cartoony". The original, Ocarina of Time, hey, TP was the ONLY "realistic" one, but I like the vibrant visuals. Just because it looks like a TP and TWW blend doesn't guarentee its death.

If you want graphics, go play the PS3 or 360 and be a new age gamer whore over there. If you're honestly going to complain about graphic's in a ZELDA GAME you are not a true fan. Gameplay > Graphics.

It isn't about the graphics, but the fact that Nintendo CAN make better graphics and choose not to, to me it isn't a sign of them making a point or graphics not mattering, but the fact that they are being lazy, like they were with phantom hourglass and Spirit Tracks, how ugly the character models looked.

This is just simply pitiful of them, and good chance the gameplay is going to be so dumbed down, no replay value there...

@AveyLithia I agree and disagree with you to some extent. Honestly, I didn't like the character models in Phantom Hourglass or Spirit Tracks. But I love the one's in OoT, they are perfect. You may be right about them being lazy, I disagree, but no one actually knows for a fact either way, I believe they are doing it to make a point that 'graphics dont matter'. But either way let's hope you're wrong about the gameplay being dumbed down, I really hope I can enjoy this game.

The new Link looks like LINK but from The Wind Waker (Toon Link for what some of you might like to call him...), his Tunic was...some type vivider...shinier green!

That's what I think of this new Link!! (If you don't know what I mean, compare Link's tunic from Skyward Sword, and with Wind Waker, THEN compare it with Twilight Princess. You'll see all of it is combined..!)

I think the game looks fine. It's not a finished product yet. I like the way Link looks. This game will be awesome. We'll have to wait for amazing Zelda HD graphics on the next Nintendo system. This looks sweet, some of my fellow Zelda fans need to chill.

Hell, it looks a lot better than my first LoZ game, Ocarina of Time. btw, I'm sure they will never put in voices because it usually makes it so that you can't create a name, and people love that feature, or at least I do.

Holy fuck people need to stop complaining about the graphics. Look at ANY game they put on the wii and compare it to the Xbox360 version, the graphics sucked because Wii cant handle those kinda graphics. Cel shaded graphics work way better because they dont compromise the overall look of the models due to system restrictions. If they showed up with realistic next-gen graphics you all would be complaining about how slow your Wii are running and saying why didnt they just focus on gameplay?

People need to stop being disappointed about the cel-shading. This is the same crap that happened to Wind Waker. That game was great. I'm sure Nintendo knows what they're doing.

One of the reasons they probably used cel-shading is because it was probably easier to work with on the game's new gameplay.

Also, the mask in the beginning is part of the history. First it's OoT, then MM, then WW, then TP. Don't think they'll be inputting Oni Link.

Oh yeah. The cell graphics on Windwaker were what caused the Gamecube to bomb in the US. Everyone was waiting for a cool Zelda game and when everyone saw the graphics we all threw up, let out a couple of choice swears, and sold our Gamecubes.

Cell shaded graphics are the worst thing ever added to the Zelda series. This game looks like it's going to blow harder then Wind Waker. (FYI: Wind waker sold as much as a Game Boy game... gee I wonder why?) Ocarina of time had realistic-ish graphics and sold like hot cakes. Twilight Princess sold like crazy too on both systems. Wind Waker... nothing. This one... nothing. I love the series but I wont buy this game.

according to miyamoto san, nintendo doesn't want to pop up new tecnologies in the console competition, if they bring everytime more and more technology, that way they will loose the purpose of making fun games, so they decided to use the already existing technologies and exploit them at the max, probably that's why xbox 360 epic failed in japan :p

I'm disappointed because of 2 things, 1st the graphics, well as link as an adult they should make the game similiar to twilight princess graphics, with this graphic (cartonish) it looks bad, they should make a young link to matches with this graphic.

2nd I'm left handed and they once again make link holds on the right, well i know most ppl are right but as I said before they should make an option to change where do tou wanna use the sword, right ou left but as a fan and ill buy it
