@onwebcameron the other 2 officers are Community Protection Officers, officially they are not allowed to use force on people, I know, I used to be one! The guys in suits are Victoria Centre Security and are outside the centre so have no grounds to touch anyone on the street. Therefore, despite the other officers there, he is the only one who can legally restrain any of the males involved.

@onwebcameron they do get paid actually (starting wage is 16k), and no, if they have anything about them they wouldn't just stand there. There were several occasions when I jumped in to help a cop restrain someone when i was a CPO. I know the cop involved as i formally worked at the same Police station. A decent guy he is, a racist he isnt. It annoys me when people judge Police in court of youtube without having been in a similar situation or having no experience dealing with people like this.

I was assaulted almost in front of two CS officers in London who did nothing, eventually a police van came, I was invited in and followed the youths, I watched them arrest a youth, (white in fact as racism seems an issue with you), while I, in the van said that it wasn't the guy. They made that guy sign on at the station for a month.

So don't pretend the police are never chancers when it comes to arrest. I can see the environment isn't a good one to police, but your 'friend' seems jaded and not helping turn things around by his 'off attitude' with the youth there, who don't have his experience so are not to blame for his views, I can see here as I would if I'd past in the street.

He has not explained clearly why he was arresting him, and said it casually as if off the cuff, also two female witnesses are heard protesting his innocence, and he said to the guy who swore, I already don't like you', not a master of diplomacy. He should have seriously and formerly charged him with something and read him his rights, he has done none of this. It is my guess this guy was convicted of nothing.

He doesn't formally arrest him as you would do if something serious, he simply and casually says, 'you're nicked', and offers no explanation until the guy protests, then doesn't read him his rights or explain why he is being arrested, he is far too casual. A serious matter would have two officers sent.

This is clear police brutality, I believe the officer here has abused his position. Firstly when he arrests the individual the officer doesnt caution the suspect, when a suspect is arrested police officers must follow codes of practice laid down by the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984. Secondly when the suspect is swearing at the police officer, the officer slams him in to the railings and then slams him in the ground,
