perhaps because they are only in year nine and have been taught from a politically 'correct' syllabus. What you say is true though, yet the 14 points were not completely violated. The Turks got the ottaman empire, the Slovaks and the Czechs got independence as did the austrians and hungarians. the polish got their corridor, access to the sea. ad Germany was disarmed. All some of the 14 points.
