hey I am 13 and have been fish for mainly trout and pike. I don't like fly fishing so I either use a spinner or lure to catch them. I want to try waggler fishing on my local coarse fishery but i don't know if my rod would be suitable for float fishing. Its a Daiwa triforce 10ft
I presume you want to go float fishing on lakes and rivers?
If so, you'll need a 12 or 13ft carbon float rod and an average size match reel.
Your best bet would be to visit your local tackle shop, explain what you want to do and ask him for advice - then you'll be able to see what's on offer, pick up a few rods and reels and find the set-up that suits you and one that suits your budget.
