Omg someone please help me :( Ok so i have my ipodtouch 2nd gen plugged in to my computer. It is on and it has the apple logo on it, but it is not going to the slide to unlock screen. Everytime it trys to go there it just restarts right back to the logo. I tryed recovery,restore,dfu mode,plugging it in to a different port,re-installing itunes. But itunes doesnt read it neither does my computer, But its plugged in and it sees my USB but just not my ipod. I wanted to get the new 4.3 version so I

the way I do it for my iphone 3g is, if in dfu mode have it plugged in to the pc (not sure if it works for mac), hold and press the home and sleep button until you hear that beep or notification you get when a device is plugged in, release both buttons then press the sleep button once more works everytime

Then after it installed (with quicktime) it had the green batter there! all my stuff was there. mine was cracked with blackrain its a g2touch, not sure if mine is still cracked, but who cares, it has all my games and music still. ( i doubled installed, not sure if this was why it worked, i caneled the first one halfway)

When apple logo is on screen, hold down lock button and home button until screen goes black, keep holding until logo shows again, then it should go black again after a while, when it does release the lock button and just hold down the home button, after around 30-40 seconds the connect to iTunes symbol should come up, then connect to pc , open iTunes and a message should come up, click on 'restore' or 'update and restore' (only one will show up) depending on wethe
