  • F=ma^2? lol...

  • Dickhead

  • Let me tell you why this will not work. You can use electromagnetic force to deflect the projectile if the projectile was propeled by electromagnetic force.

  • @Noancrux So all you have to do is Have an incredibly large super generator, super electromagnet, and be able todetect a 7lb. projectile coming at you at mach 10. Not to mension that the magnet would have to be on the target where the proctile will hit, and it would not repell, it would attract, and the magnet would have to have nanosecond timing or less. For it to repell it would need to be another railgun with the round going down the barrel, which it isn't designed to do. NOT POSSIBLE.

  • Oh, no. not you again.

  • Force = Mass*Acceleration, not acceleration squared. You're confusing it with formula for kinetic energy k.e. = 1/2*m*velocity^2

  • RON PAUL 2012.

  • it goes so fast, they probably wouldn't be able to stop or shoot it down, even while they see it coming! FAST!!!

  • It's British..

  • lol

  • all done of usa is prodocing weapon to kill more and more people. they killed hundereds millions of ppl they are still killing they are gonna keep killing

  • @HaeByungKing hundreds of millions? :D

  • HEY FAGGOT, nobody wants to see a sack of shit ranting about the gun. we want to see the gun

  • You're funny. Stupid but funny.

  • Secondly I agree with you in that in would change naval combat, it would make both shorter and longer and reduce it down to who could recharge faster. Also targeting would be a problem if for example during a storm, because at the ranges that you are talking about satellite targeting. And finally this would make ships even more vulnerable then before because forget about destroying the ship; just drop an EMP near the thing ( 3 miles would do) and the railgun becomes useless.

  • @Fliuck they can (and will) shield against EMP's. And we are probably the only ones that have THAT technology, too. Or at least can use it effectivly. N.Korea can't even get a regular missle going right yet!

  • @gr8skpz Just to point out to you that metallic shielding does not work because it would block the firing chamber and secondly tailored hardening would only grant it a limited resistance against EMP strikes. Further to that they still have not addressed weight and power issues, so until they do Railgun's will be relegated to ether an R&D test that failed, or to massed coastal battery's.

  • Exocet missiles do all that and have been in service since 1979 :)

  • fix your teeth bud

  • I love when a complete douche attempts to explain science. I could get more useful information from a bag of sand...

  • You suck. Its a waste, Spend this energy on helping kittens find homes.

  • We, as a people, need to go extinct ASAP. No other species does the stuff we do. We are non peaceful and believe in crazy things like religion, which pits us against each other. Dogs should rule the earth. Their philosophy is simple: Either eat it, or screw it, or just pee on it.

  • @MegaBrian1960 Start with killing yourself. Maybe your dog will be happier.

  • i see these as future space ship guns :]

  • I find it funny when everyone talks about this NEW, AMAZING technology and how its "being developed" lol

Its ALREADY being used in high risk/high security gov facilities. This was perfected YEARSSS ago. Awesome stuff.

  • they are working on mounting this on a tank in about 15 to 20 years. already in testing

its a 300mm railgun on an abrams. Belt fed. Satguided shells. up to 2 rounds a second

LETS MAKE IRAQ LOOK LIKE GOATSEE TO THE ASTRONAUTS HURAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • F=ma, not F=ma squared. Still a biggie; very cool technology -- but aren't there likely to be air friction issues? I think the US military should be based on small high-tech capabilities and not traditional 20,000 men armored divisions.

  • @2007ablack True f=ma, but Kinetic energy =mv^2

You want speed more than anything with projectiles.

  • But still in a test/research bed, unfortunately. We will not see widespread use any time soon.

  • And it's not about F=ma. It's about Kinetic Energy, KE=.5mv^2.

  • Why are you talking to me like I'm retarded???

  • Wait.....force = mass * acceleration ^2??? That is wrong. It's f=m*a.

  • Our stick just got alot bigger

  • wow bud, you know this will be the most unreliable and hardest weapon to implement right ? . Also there is nothing new about electromagnetic propulsion even in the form of a gun, saying this is a good idea is like saying the land cruiser 1000 the germans drew up is perfectly sane. Also to add, the reason why rail guns are not perfected and implemented yet, is because there is a point when the big bang you are so excited by starts to send out EMP's and EMRW's which are bad for living things.

  • Railguns are just fucking insanity, this is like Frankensteins Monstrosity, I mean, holy fucking shit. If they find a way to power this baby without having half an atomic reactor powering it, shit's gonna get bad, REALLY BAD! Oh so you're in a Bunker below earth? well fuck your shit, ENJOY THIS PIERCING IT!

  • i hat guns and and boms but this is amazing

  • force = mass x acceleration^2? I don't think so, catch up on your physics.

  • 2025? more like its already here

  • Tech is awesome as it is humans future but it's really sick to watch ppl being so happy that they discovered a better way to kill other people!

    This is f@cked up.

  • Well this is a nice weapon, just wish we would put haft as much money and energy into keeping ourself out of all these wars :) there is really no point to them just murdering of other humans that might not like us, because we are greedy and want their stuff. This constant wars and murders will be the end of us all. It will come home and bite us in the ass. Thanks for the video, you keep posting, I will keep watching :) Nicole

  • This guy is building a massive gun in the ocean at the equator that fires objects at around 13,0000mph, sending these objects into space. It is built at the equator to help a slingshot effect from the rotation of the earth. Interesting stuff.

  • @LizzyAston Wasn't that the bull cannon?. The brits tested those in the carribean, then Saddam wanted one to trow a satelite, of course, no electromagentic propulsion, just pownder.

  • While your initial assessment of the change such a weapon would bring to the table is 100% correct id like to add the fact that really it's just a trade ..a dangerous one if you ask me. Why? Simply put we *the entirety of human armed forces* do not have the power systems required to power these guns. We only have nuclear powered reactors. So if this would go live They would just trade Ammunition for Nuclear reactors. That aside the fact that no sane military commander will trust a tech enough ..

  • Only thing this weapon changes is that instead of 20 minutes wait for air support, the US ground troops will get naval fire support in ~6 minutes to around ~ 400 nautical miles inland. It is far too bulky and impractical to fit on anything but a blue water capital ship. And is used to shoot at stationary ground targets far far away (and not the transformers style)

  • You are clearly no Newtonian physicist! Force does not = mass * (acceleration)^2

Newtons second law of motion states that the force experienced by an object is equal to the product of its mass and acceleration.

In other words, Force = mass x acceleration. You may have been getting mixed up with the formulae for the kinetic energy as they are similar. The formulae for kinetic energy is:

    Kinetic Energy = 1/2 x mass x (velocity)^2

  • F=mass x acceleration

    no

    F= mass x acceleration^2

  • This weapon would be too obtrusive, i mean even if you put it on another platform it would impede the flow of passengers trying to board their trains

I do think arnie should be kitted out with this gun (Akimbo) next time he faces those dashed awful predator type creatures,Might need a sawn off version.

  • no wonder why theres not an option to dislike this video. i dont want to talk to you john

  • The scary thing for military top brass and politicians is this thing could make aircraft carriers undefendable. Projectiles coming in from hundreds of miles away, straight thru a Nimitz and out the bottom.

  • The next plan will be how to protect yourself against this weapon. It has always been that way.

  • this guy is a goofball.

  • what will you accomplish with that gun ?..., blow humans to smattering ?!! ,you imbecile baboon ; another fucking weapon in the possession of the US to rip the shit out of others , how cool and unbelievable can that be ? you're astonished by it's destructive power ,you narrow minded patriot , use the technology for proper things that uplift conditions of humanity not warfare

  • @diamondnexxus Yes I am astonished by destructive power. This is far more adavanced than any coventional projectile system. You also asume that this technology will be used for warfare and warfare alone, it may come to you as a shock but we need weapons and it has allays been this way however this technology will also be used to launch space vehicles into orbit in the near future so some good will come out of it. Weapons maybe destructive but they do save lifes and one day could save us all.

  • developed by British Aerospace Engineering for US navy.. :)

  • but the idea isn't new

  • dude how the fuck is this cool

i can picture in china some kim jong ill feller checks this vid and decides to super fucking size this up and makes war with that typ of shit where are you gonna be safe against a projectile that smashes a fucking asteroid to bits these rail guns can fire over mach 8 already 9 maybe picture this thing fitted to a tank shotting a slug in an urban area that projectile travels throug all the buildings in its path hitting gaslines power lines and 100s of ppl rly cool

  • @11Quetzal11 a korean dude in china lol sorry i can't picture it

  • there is a problem with the whole platform thing. it takes fuckloads of electricity to generate

  • Yeah - all this shit is great until they turn and use it on us.....

  • so awesome!! kill kill kill!!!

  • so...i guess were gonna be gallente

  • This thing IS real. They actually mention it in the movie Eraser .That's how long it has been around. It is mounted on a Battle ship. It is a prototype, though, and as far as I can find there is only the one. The Dragonfire system(?) operates on similar principles .

  • fuck oo sory fake

  • @dogprod89 google BAE systems railgun ;)

  • War causes pain death misery and pure destruction. Anybody who avocates it is a fool.

  • @franciscodudeful Best part of war. It lowers the overall population.

  • fool faggot

  • That explosions looks really fake, I sense sh00p. Stop making fakes you faggot.

  • Here are some contras for your pros:

You can jam the EM systems easier than normal ammo.

Second: The rails has to reworked every "few" shots...unlike normal barrells.

Third: Railguns are heavier than conventional weapons.....yet.

    Wait another 20 years...

  • I want to talk to you about your HOMO SEX U ALITY

  • conservatives are gay?

  • can some one tell him we dont use battleship anymore

  • i wanted to see a gun but instead i got a fag

  • i'm not so sure but doesn't that photo look incredibly newbie photoshopped?

  • @stewforyou i think it is because of the slow-mo cam

  • The shot actually superheats the air into plama as it fires out

Thats a fuckwad of enrgy dawgs

  • Could be used for close in anti aircraft, Anti satellite. Long range not practical due to air friction.

  • It's not squared. Force = mass x acceleration

  • omg, railguns are SOO powerful! like 5 times more powerful than conventional munition

  • here is a comment for you mother fucker! we know exactally what it is going to be used for. that nwo evil technology is going to be used to murder unarmed innonence cilivians, thats exactally whats it going to be used for!!!! and in piticular innonence unarmed american civilians in time. because the us navy has no enemies or nobody to shoot that shit at. except innonence unarmed american civilians.

i hope they blow your daddys dick off, so get excited about that you dumb fuck ...lol

  • oh hey you sillies... i want to talk to you about a super awesom rail gun that is sooo phen-om-in-alll!!!

  • the amazing thing is that for the bullet to travel 100miles it requires 1min of travel. i mean, that's really amazing for a projectile to travel that amount of time with only one propulsion.

  • An easier way for US to blow up mudhuts n civilians now :D

  • This is Chuck Norris's sniper rifle.

  • If you guys want to continue to live on social security, and play video games all day. That represents the value of your actions. Life is about GIVING. Giving to the poor, isn't going to get them out of their houses.

Lead by example, be respectful, be considerate. Why did our parents tell us to not do certain things, when we were children?

    Character,

  • @gforce194 I agree, well said. We all need to mature and work for the betterment of human kind. I wish I could do more to help keep the peace. I get pissed when people type nasty things to each other for no good reason. We are all in this together. Dont let the government and the media teach us to be violent and horde possessions.Thats what they want us to do. If we unite in peace, we can do amazing things. We are just slaves to the top 1%. They want to keep us illiterate and fighting. Peace:)

  • I've been reading some of these comments, and a lot of you guys aren't being considerate. Villarreal takes the time to put these videos up for you guys, to focus on the idea of this technological advancement that the United States Military has succeeded in doing so. Sure, this Rail Gun discovery happened years ago, but look at what's happening, more and more advancements for the US Military. Do you support your Country?

  • @gforce194 support your country? hah! your country is broke. your unemployment level is sky high and yet you decide to waste millions of dollars on this gun?

  • @gforce194 Country yes, the Corporate Government that is owned by the banks Hell NO :) when they start working for us again maybe.

  • @gforce194 Do I support my country spending literally billions of dollars every year on weapons, and keeping our troops overseas for years? No. I'm pretty sure we don't need a railgun right now. Sure, it's cool, and it's useful, and it's way ahead of everyone else, etc. But we don't need to spend close to a billion dollars on this, when we're trillions in the whole. You, citizenry, see no benefit from your tax money going towards this.

  • 273 people are dumb ass democraps.

  • does anyone esle think of metal gear solid when they hear rail gun? haha

  • Truly a scary weapon

  • ur fucked in the head, do u need oil?

  • I do not understand because we have had missiles that could be shot off planes toward ships that could travel 100 miles already. Therefore, when the announcer says that this has never occurred before, I think he has his information mixed up. Now short of shooting a medium-range nuclear missile, I am not aware of anything that can travel over 100 miles off of a launching platform of some form. The technology I am referring to has been around for at least 25-27 years or longer. MGM.

  • @agbtg7 but it is not a missile - its effectively a very, very hot bullet.

  • Metal Gear!? It can't be!

  • @yermomsboxx Ha!

  • @yermomsboxx yeah like it's 2 years late for MG already.

  • Awesome technology, but high school level science isn't really your thing.

Force does NOT equal mass*acceleration squared. It's simply mass times acceleration. (KE is mass* velocity squared)

Tornadoes have been known to put straw through wood, not hurricanes winds.

    Mach 7 is "rough-e-ly" 5300 mph, not "almost 5000"

I don't want to do the math, but I feel like your estimate of 1MJ to drive a car at 100mph is a huge overestimate as well.

  • @ChillPenguin2 Actually grass into palm trees does happen from typhoon's (hurricanes).

  • what's up with the wife-beater? Put some clothes on weirdo

  • John you represent what is fucked in the world. (Your comments)...

"We need this as soon as possible"... "Super proud of the US Navy"... WTF!!!. Why do you consider spending ridiculous sums of money on weapons "Cool"?.. when 70% of the population can barley afford to eat, or have clean drinking water. I think you're largley ignorant to the true purpose of life, as most people are. The purpose to life is to serve!. Not to make devastating weapons!. Your perspective is disappointing.

  • @oCOSMICeyes CAn't help people get food if we can't defend ourselves

  • Comment removed

  • @pdderek You've missed the point. Why am I not surprised?. Its not about "America" "helping people get food". My point is the ridiculous spending disparity, between these unnecessary super-weapons, and basic living necessities for the needy. America's Trillion+ dollar defense budget is an ugly reflection of its nation's mentality. And why numbskulls like you jerk off to the idea of having them in ur arsenal. America is modern day Rome, and it to will fall, to its ignorance and behavior.

  • This is a ridiculous let down of the highest degree. Whats next? Mounting this on a satellite so that the US govt can assassinate anyone with out opposition from outer space. This is a nightmare. I'm so happy that 50% of the 35% of my income is going to this crap.

  • there is no good use for this weapon. While it can launch a small KE (kinetic energy) projectile longer distance good luck hitting the target. With HE (high explosive) you would only need to be close, the KE has to specificlly hit the target. Look up the star wars project we made these back in the 80s, waste of money then too.

We have rocket assisted shells for artillery the range of arty is much farther. With the money spent you could buy a lot of cruse missiles with 900 mile range.

  • @macabre12345 Good luck hitting? I didn't spend years studying physics to find out they can't even predict where this shit is going to land.

  • @bf2lover42 i was artillery, even if he gun is accurate, you have wind blowing in different directions at different altitudes. The projectile gets blown arround, we have a hard enough time hitting targets with shells that explode and have a 150m wounding radius. This railgun shell must land directly on the target, that is not an easy task, probably not possible from a moving ship..

  • @macabre12345 It is possible. The HE is pointless because the ammount of explosive you can fit there won't deal as much damage as it would if you just made it a kinetic projectile.

In fact, one of this gun's uses is to fragment when its almost on target and just shower soft targets (ie anything without thick concrete or armor on it, like an airfield).

If you have been in artillery, then you certainly know of the M982 Excalibur.

  • @bf2lover42 the excalibur is a guided munition, so are MIRV warheads, a railgun cant use any guidance or HE because of the electricity use to launch it.

This as with any projectile loses velocity over distance and will not be going that fast on impact at long range. You are wrong, HEAT rounds with cone shape charges or EFP do more damage than kenitic energy shells.

  • @macabre12345 The round is supposed to make a parabolic trajetory, adjust, and then dive down in mach 5. The wonders of inertial guidance.

This weapon is supposed to be the future of warfare, I'm not saying HEAT will turn obsolete but reactive armor will force the projectile to have tandem charges, which makes it heavier = slower, that makes the weapon redundant.

The shrapnel variant releases 10,000 tungsten cubes that can disable armored figthting vehicles.

  • @macabre12345 the KE version can wreck hardened bunkers, and the 5 meter margin of error is more than enough to penetrate concrete and disable, say, a bomber or sink enemy ships

  • @macabre12345 If we can land aircraft on a moving ship, we can launch from a moving ship. Since you seem to know about the subject, I'm not going to bother you with physics and vector calculations.

We can launch MIRV into space and have all the warheads hit where we want with precision. The Railgun's muzzle velocity is so high that decreases wind drift unlike explosive propellants which are slower and prone to deviation. A 5 meter margin of error at 200nm? It's a win for me.

  • Is this a new Mr. Show sketch?

  • You r the only youtube publisher I can watch and not get bored to tears. keep up the good work!

  • cool, i wish it was for real

  • wont they have to take the earths curve into effect at that range and speed ?

  • It's destructive and has long range, but what's the accuracy over such a long range? What's the calculated spread/inaccuracy at 100 miles range? Something tells me the spread could be quite huge, especially because of the power the projectile has. The barrel should have trouble steering it accurately when the projectile has the power to blow right through the barrel.

  • Ceneni *ikim *ic

  • i bet the USA Government stole it from the aliens.. you know thw yanks cant build anythink so they steal it o.o

  • @GayBoyRunning you are just jealous cus we are smart :]

  • @ianwilky12345 nah its that ur country need to spend billions when i can build that "rail gun" out of scap metal in my shed -_-

  • we don't use 15/16inch guns any more. We use missiles. which can be fired over oceans.

  • @ghettopettingzoo missiles are insanely expensive. a javelin missile is 8 million dollars by itself.

  • yay new weapons to invade another countries like Irak :3 yeah!!! kep working on it, keep making weapons and forget food and people :D

yeah!, someday i will live in US...

    /irony.

  • @ThantoS2K shut up and spare us your philosophies.

  • @bassbass99able i wish you die by a fucking railgun to be proud, asshole. come here and shut me, pussy

  • @bassbass99able food isnt a philosophy you faggot fuck, its a resource And yes, its getting more expensive and if oil goies up to 150 or 200$ a barrel it will become prohibitive. Now stfu and go read The Art of War. You arnt smart and can use some basics.

  • @ThantoS2K there is lots of food here:) and cool weapons

  • We should be careful about this so called "cool" weapon. A powerful weapon in the wrong hand is dangerous, moreso if the one who's holding the gun is the USA. I hope they burn their hands on this tech.

  • hmmm old stuff.... russians had this technology aeons ago.

Google "US TAPS RUSSIAN RAILGUN TECHNOLOGY" :)

  • A useless weapon. What foe are we placating with it? What this represents to me is a huge middle finger to the American taxpayer and a terrible waste of money. How can you call yourself a conservative while advocating outrageous ways to throw money down the drain? If you really want to spend billions of dollars, can we have free healthcare please?

  • @MrRossGodwin Useless weapon my ass. That thing could take out a satellite in one shot. I guess you think if we turn our swords into plowshares our enemies will leave us in utopia with our "free" healthcare. You're free to work hard and pay for your own excellent healthcare because the military constantly innovates and does not "placate" but dissuades those who would seek to wrest those liberties from us.

  • @revelinabandon A well thrown rock could take out a satellite in one shot. And I don't think you realize how unmatched our navy is. We don't need this weapon, its nothing more than a nifty gadget with no serious practical value beyond "shock and awe". I would be much more awed by clever investment and wise expenditure of all of our "hard-earned" tax dollars. I understand that most 12 year olds get off to this sort of thing, but once you are paying taxes you'll feel differently.

  • @MrRossGodwin A well thrown rock eh? I don't think you're being very realistic. I think the advancement of technologies of all types is a worthwhile endeavor, whether we can recognize practical applications for them at the time or not. I've been paying taxes for 24 years, and I've always valued a continuously strong military over state run health care. I'd rather see that money going toward implementing new energy technologies and getting people off the grid and into next gen tech jobs.

  • @revelinabandon You're right, finding new ways to kill people is a much better way to spend money than trying to keep the poor healthy. Technologies that improve energy, transportation, communication, etc are good. New super-weapons are a grey area, and should be at the bottom of that list unless a credible threat warrants it. As of now, no such threat exists. Millions are without healthcare, however. I find it difficult to argue in favor of weapons at the expense of good health.

  • @MrRossGodwin Being strong is a deterrent. We're losing our edge militarily and technologically. Plenty of people hate us and would like to see us fall. All they're waiting for is for us to become sufficiently weak. I'm not interested in providing health care to the poor. I am interested in helping the able poor become the able middle class, so that they may provide themselves with health care. The more we incintivize people to sit on their ass, the sooner we buckle from bearing their load.

  • @revelinabandon We are strong. Very strong. But military power for its own sake is pointless if what its defending is crumbling under its fiscal weight. I don't disagree with the importance of strength, what I'm saying is that the rail gun doesn't address any real-world problems we face. No one has a navy to match ours, and the rail gun does little to support ground troops. All I want to know is a single, non-hypothetical use for this weapon. And who exactly are we losing our edge to?

  • @revelinabandon And I find your disregard for the wellbeing of your fellow countrymen alarming. If you care not for your nation, your people, then why do you care if we are strong? What is is you want to defend? Empire for its own sake is an act of reckless narcissism. Who is it that we need fear when we have people like you who forsake your fellow Americans so readily? Most empires crumble from within long before they succumb to foreign threats.

  • @MrRossGodwin What makes you think I have disregard for their wellbeing? Just the opposite, really. I think the happiest and healthiest men and women are the ones who can and will stand on their own two feet. If sitting around complacently all day waiting for a check from someone else simply because you exist is not an illness, I don't know what is. There should be a safety net, but with limits. "Free" healthcare adds yet another entitlement, which comprise 60%+ of our overspending. Debticide.

  • @revelinabandon Patriotism is the willingness to see flaws in one's country and the will to make it better than it is. Nationalism is the belief that one's country is exceptional and the views it in opposition to all others. We have an overabundance of nationalism in America. We are in dire need of some patriotism.

  • @MrRossGodwin I disagree with your definitions and the notion that both sentiments can't coincide and contribute to the good of citizens and mankind at large.

  • omg omg omg this is so cool man, cool so, so cool, is cool so, cool very,,,

what were I sayin, aha: cool so cool man, cool man so, man so cool,,,,

HOLY SHIT I GOT LOST AGAIN,,,,,,, AHA: cool, I mean,,,,,,,, it s cool, holy shit I got to go to WC to say him,,,, wait what to sayy,,,,, aha: it is so cool man cool so cool cool is

  • you look stupid you wear stupid clothes you give us stupid informations

    you r stupid

    T up

  • BIG STICK JUST GOT BIGGER.

PITY THE MONEY WAS NOT SPENT ON HEALTH CARE.

NOT MUCH USE FOR THE WAR ON TERROR .

  • @joh1722 Fuck your health care you sponge. You entitlement sponges are what's killing America.

  • @revelinabandon Get off that PS 3 YOU WANKER .IVE BEEN TO WAR AND SEEN WHAT IS HAPPENING .THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT IS SELLING FALSE HOPES AND THE WANKER WHO SENT US (TONY BLAIR) IS WORTH 20 MILLION.HE HAS NOW JOINED THE BUSHES SELLING BULLSHIT ACROSS THE US.AND YES THE MONEY SHOULD GO TO THE PEOPLE SCREWED BY OTHERS MISTAKES.HAVE A NICE LIFE.

  • @joh1722 I'm not pro war. I'm pro deterrent. You're not American, so worry about the internal affairs of your own state. As a citizen of this nation, I don't support state healthcare, and that's none of your business. British health care is crap and so is the big mess you've made with leaning toward socialism and your slide into the gutter with this multiculturalism crap. If you weren't trying to be so PC, you'd realize how unpragmatic that is. PS: Stop typing in caps like a 4 year old.

  • Its just a advancement in propulsion. You have gunpowder and Air power, these Rail Guns just use anti magnitism to send a projectile however the Generator recuired to provide the power to fire these is so large they will only be used on Ships.

Air Power is another powerfull way, if you use the Air Power from a Multi Ton Press to fire a bullet they would penetrate brick like it was paper.

  • How do they propose to get one of those onto a submarine?

  • They will fire the rail gun in an arc, so that the projectile would for a short time go into space and then come back down with still an extremely high velocity.

  • great, the yankees do have a new gun. As long as they use it for good courses such as Irag, Afghanistan, Korea, Vietnam... alll will be fine

  • YOUR VIDEO AND VIEWS ARE STUPID CONCERNING THIS VIDEO; IT SEEMS TO ME THAT YOU ARE ADVOCATING WAR.

  • @daniels37 "Advocating war?"

  • Ben Cohen Explains the Federal Budget

  • I really like you, I like you a lot, but how much are you willing to spend of money that we don't have. the painfull truth is we can no longer have a military with a free budget. the gov has been afraid of the big contractors since regan. can you tell me who is really in control of this hidden monster?

  • prob #2 defending against such a weapon would be as easy as having that weapon. ever tried sticking two south ends of a magnet together? yeah thats right it dosent work. so once you are fired upon all you would have to do is fire back and simple simple crisis avoided. and another point, ever try sticking a fork in a light socket? how about sticking a fork in a light socket and standing in a pool? now you have 33 000 000 jewels of energy on a metal ship surrounded by water. sounds good, give 'er!

  • @jrmontour

did you hear the range over 100 miles two south poles isn't going to stop it from that far away and the projectile isn't magnetic so its not going to be stop from the field of another projectile

and the 30. 000.000 jewels thing I'm pretty sure the navy would have thought about that its obviously isolated by non conducting material

  • @jrmontour u reminded me of my dad. when we ask him why he joined the navy since he hates water, he says that its because they supply the boats and therefor he doesnt have to swim. my point is the cannon is not in the water... its on a damn boat. a big fuckin boat. i dont understand what u said about 2 south poles of magnets. and if they all left their laptops on top of the supercannon well then thats their fault. i bet there will be a sticker on the cannon too.

  • Really?!?! NO!!!

think about what you are saying!

Problem #1 with what you are saying: first point- do you have any clue how magnets work? let along super magnets! and have you ever tried holding a super magnet up to a computer? give that a try and tell me how it works out for ya.

second point- do know how those big battle ships operate? i can tell you its not sailors with oars! its computers! so super magnets + super computers = one heck of a mess!

  • @jrmontour

the field isn't going to destroy computers cause the field isn't that big the computer's are not sitting right next to a huge electromagnetic gun and the computers would obviously be shielded if they were in any kind of danger cause of this

  • You can make these at home...it wont be as powerful, but you can use them as a hole punch!

  • I can tell from the sound of his voice this guys not too bright
