It is set in 2016, and Pave Lows left service for the US army in 2008. So for much for a realistic game

@decdlayhow lol very true but in all actuality, it's not just americans, Nikolai isn't even with the 141, he's with the SAS is which now no longer exist...as far as mw2 seems to imply, and even during that time, he was a russian guy(idk what force he may have been involved with)doing whatever he was before the SAS came to get him. But Pavelows...sound bad ass even still.
