I have seen the interstate jam up for 12 hours when they had multiple fatalaties or the asshole DC sniper and you were stuck where you were end of story. They are so small you could carry one in a brief case and no one would know you were a professional slacker. If I were homeless this and a bike would be a nobrainer you could ride to remote locations chill and answer to no more cops like city HL do. If you plan to go into wild must have a tarp and a skeeter net.
I got a trek light for Christmas. love it. It rocks me to sleep. it doesn't weigh down my kayak and I don't have to find a flat hard clear surface to set up a tent. love this thing.
did i hear this greeny rite now i am suppose to feel guilty above stepping on are pressing down and killing plants while camping. give it a rest !! hammocks rule.
oh man, trek light rules. I bought one of these a few years ago and have slept in it in 5 different countries and counting. It definitely holds the 400 pounds they advertise

Do the posts you hang it on have to be round? I was wondering if square posts would work.

I used my hammock on square posts (on my parent's deck) worked fine no troubles.
