hi. i changed the registered owner and it's reflected on xp. i have my xbox connected to stream music from my laptop but that didn't update the name. any ideas? i even rebooted everything, laptop, xbox, router and nothing. any help would be apprecited.

I don't know if you've figured it out, but you change that name from within Windows Media Player.
