Nice video! You might want to try lower shutter speeds, like 24fps, 1/50th. Also try picking up a low light prime lens, like an f1.4 or f1.8. Doing that you can then shoot in manual mode, and bring your ISO down to 640 or so. Another trick is to turn the sharpness and contrast all the way down when shooting video, you don't need it and it just adds noise in low light.
Was the aliasing that severe previous to the addition to the fake grain? What lens did you incorporate for this short? or was it a mix of lenses? It's quality is great. Sorry for all the questions, I'm looking to upgrade and am hunting for info.
