  • i you need a guide, i have good friend who lives a few hundred yards from the ruins, and is a collage student, speaks perfect english/french and would work for $15-20 a day

    well worth it!

  • One of the best things about traveling to excotic places is meeting the people and getting to know how they live up close,making new friends along the way and experenceing there life style for the time you are there ,exchanging cuturals is a wonderful way to learn for everyone other wise your just a tourest and miss so very much

  • Such important historical ruins very few knew and talk about. In my opinion, a video should have been made by History Channel or National Geographic Channel. That would have been a hit. However, thanks for your effort/hard work and posting,CaptRam.

  • The city of Tunis was founded much more after CARTHAGE//CARTHAGO DELENDA EST:so what Romans did!Tunis was created after the Arab invasions!or with!it's not a berber city like many others in the country:ABOU HAFS,governor of IFRIQIA,and his descendants chose Tunis as the capital,not of Tunisia,but of IFRIQIA!

  • the ruins are located in sbeitla.a small town in north cantral tunisia. the roman city is called sufeutla and it dates back nearly 2000 years ago

  • not all the ruins r located in this place:but in many other places!u can ask the Tunisian Tourist Board...
