Genesis became some kinda monster that somehow looks like the Safer-Sephiroth and Zack is holding the buster sword same like Cloud, and Zack fought Genesis in his human form, like Cloud fought Sephiroth in his human form

I was level 47 with ~3900 hp and I beat this guy slowly but surely. Just blast the hell out of at least lvl 4 hell firaga and master blizzaga. Genesis was harder but all i used was thundaga, seems to work pretty well. Good job! this took me a long time to beat but now it's not too hard. just keep at it and find good tactics! Dont underestimate accesories!

No, it was not HP +999%.

It is not an item, and it doesn't affect the HP parameter cap, which is by default 9999.

If you have 3000 HP and HP +999% equipped, then your resulting HP without HP cap removed will be 9999, but with HP cap removed it will be about 33000.

@liricabox i beat him at level 37... With simple skills.. Try Regen.. its a big help.. and Hp up Master + 4. Also a big help... When he slams his sword down and summons monsters use the skill ( Darkness) but make sure its maxed can kill the monsters in a few hits and takes them all out easy. i killed him first try.

Genesis was always easy to me, I just kept giving up on this battle because it was so frickin' long! But now that I have costly punch, I can kill him in 4 hits XD. But it took me 4 games to get costly punch. Just use your most powerful non-magic move on his sword, and I used fiagra and blizzarga for his little minions. Zack is so sexy...

I finished the first walkthrough on normal being level 79.

During my second walkthrough on hard I got only one level up, but I wasn't playing missions.

I love the way I could beat this guy n 2 hits :D well I used to be able to before my psp broke :( but there is some bracelet that lets you hit 99,999 i maxed that out :D so i could hit 99,999 killed that guy in 2 shots as he has 100,00hp :D

i did a glitch to kill him sorta glitch you must have blizarda and buy a lots a blizard then fuse all of them (blizard and blizarda) until it cant go higher and it must be at maximum level then attack him with the attack and in a few times he dies

see I gt my ass kicked by angeal so the save point before that I did as many missions as I could until I leveled up about 15 levels and then kicked angeals ass...then I met the fuckng idiot with the fucked up wing total ASS but I beatt him. this boss however was SOOO easy no joke I used vital strike or whatever its awesome. if you do some missions you can get rare items that make your attack higher and now with just 9 or so strikes I can kill this F'er
