the community is pretty good. People will welcome you to their clans the first day you join. Its full of friendly dudes, but as always you have some assholes.

Yes, their are trade routs, and because boats are so expensive to build, not many sea pirates yet, but TONS of people who would try to steal one of these.

Currently they are working on a new patch for naval things like Putting supplies on boats then transfering them, and yes there are some pirate groups in-game Being able to transfer goods by sea will bring a new feel to pirating you will be able to get good booty that way maytee argghhh.

Hmm technically yes but due to universal banking, nobody need trade routes. They are gonna either implement local banking or max wieght universal banking soon so yes, there will be.

theres no levels in that you can go anywhere.

But outside of starting areas, and sometimes even within them, EVERYTHING will kill you.

There may not be levels, but there are skill levels and attribute points.

yes darkfall is the same 15 a month... Darkfall Is actually one of the games that actually has the darn balls to make a revolutionary mmorpg DIFFERENT to the current ones (WoW/WAR/ETC) got to give them credit to that..

tho the only Cons in this game is... theres too much grinding making macro absolutely needed and since when the first week the game started... there has been people exploiting the game and due to the game glitchs... theres a lot of exploiters/hackers ingame

so other than part of the player community, darkfall overall is a great game with great potential STILL, but the bad thing is they kinda released an incomplete version without all features they told that they would have. (but i believe that would change over time thats why i will play it once it stabilizes (currently not playing so i dunno about the new expan)

Darkfall has an economy of its own. WoW does not, at least not as in depth as Darkfall's. You would not get bored of Darkfall as easily if at all. The only dissatisfaction you might feel sometimes when losing really expensive gear in battle, or to wake up in the morning to find your base completely half destroyed in rage. All in all though, whats to stop you from doing the same to someone else? It's all good fun.

The grind to level those skills isn't easy. This game is P2P, there is grinding.

You don't need to grind. Grinding in DF is basically when you want to rush the higher skills. I never grinded, i just play game and level my kills in the progress AS intended.

There are no characters levels but there are skill levels. The more you use them, the stronger they get. The grind to level those skills is very easy.
