I did the Yo Yo Glitch. First thing that happens in this vid.

I then equipped the spike jacket to Ness's body, faked a messed up Thunder Jacket so my opponent would think I was harmless, and then timed the PK FLASH explosion so that it would explode when he walked up to me and get spiked up into it by my spike jacket.

but basically, one of the things you can do with the yoyo glitch is attach hitboxes to Ness's body [hence the term "jacket"] and basically Ness could be dodging, shielding, falling, it really doesn't matter, he'll be wearing the hitbox of that move on his body as if he was doing the move right then even though he isn't.

so. having a spike jacket on gives off the effect of hitting someone with his down-aerial-attack even though I was charging PK Flash

hehe funny. but seems pretty explainable. the green explosion chain (or chain of explosions rather) started with one explosion that was lower than the spark a little bit and that simply doesn't happen much. Ness had already released the attack. the first explosion in the chain reaction of the attack just happened to knock link into the rest of it
