well to be fair the record companies never invented any genres, they just took existing genres and made money off them. and nowadays unfortunately there are people that get into underground music simply to say they listen to underground music. theyre called hipsters. also there are unfortunately some 'metalheads' that get into metal simply to fit into the metalhead stereotype. i dont like it either, but it happens.

I like emo/hardcore music, regardless of whether it is a trend or not. I do not do it for the fashion, I do not do it to be cool, I do it because it expresses how I feel, and I connect with the music as a human.

You may also like, The Human Abstract, One Day As A Lion, Rise Against, System of a Down and Wren. That and a lot of Ska artists is my lighter side of music. Other than that i I listen to a lot of death metal, thrash, black and i guess metalcore if thats what they call some of my shit. Classic Rock is good to i listen to a great deal of that. I never said they were. They are Pop Punk and Post-Hardcore. I said that MCR is mainstream Rock. And that they are. I actually like Metal more than any other music. Actually I'm a Mallcore fan myself. Yes I like Nu-Metal and Metalcore. But those actually take some skill to play. And yes these underground bands are extremely skilled. I listen to some of these mainstream rock bands. Not the Jonas Bastards or anything like that, but like old MCR and all the hated "mallcore" bands. Lyrics don't matter much to me. It's all about what's BEHIND the lyrics with the power and intensity of the guitar, the fast crazy drumsfor some and intense vocals. But the Underground needs to be hepled. Free the undergroung and unleashe the true brutality of metal!

I never said they were. They are Pop Punk and Post-Hardcore. I said that MCR is mainstream Rock. And that they are. I actually like Metal more than any other music. Actually I'm a Mallcore fan myself. Yes I like Nu-Metal and Metalcore. But those actually take some skill to play. And yes these underground bands are extremely skilled. And Jonas Bastards suck each other.
